Longmont celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2021. The community has come a long way since its founding as the Chicago-Colorado Colony back in 1871. Longmont Museum Curator of History Erik Mason has traced the history in his book "Longmont: The First 150 Years," a broad history of the town and its people. Join him for an engaging talk on the history of Longmont, illustrated with many photographs from his book, and discover the origins and evolution of this key Front Range community.
