Historical Society Presents: "9 Mile Corner: The Road to Remembrance"
Adults - Back by popular demand, Gerry Morell, a member of the Historical Society, presents the past and present of the 9 Mile Corner intersection. Built in 1928, the Pillars at 9 Mile Corner are dedicated to the remembrance of World War I. They are a lingering artifact of a larger public works project that never came to be, The Road to Remembrance. Present-day discussions are planning for their relocation. Join the Historical Society as we explore the past and present of this well-known intersection.
