Teens ages 12-18 - sign up for a science and technology workshop featuring Dr. Annie Margaret of CU Boulder's ATLAS institute.
Are you hooked on social media? Is doom scrolling getting you down? In this workshop, you’ll learn about what makes social media addictive and how to become a leader of the digital wellness movement. Create friendship and build community with people who value intelligent use of social media, as you reflect on your own experiences with social media and learn how social media affects your emotions and mental health. You’ll walk away with psychology practices (such as mindfulness, embodiment) for healthy social media use.
About STEAM Fridays
Join CU ATLAS upstairs in the seating area at the North end of the Library near the Makerspace. STEAM Fridays are weekly in July, and may be geared for kids, teens, or all ages/families! Register for any that you would like to attend.
