STEAM Friday with CU ATLAS - "Bioplastics" - Register
All ages - sign up to attend a workshop featuring CU ATLAS PhD student Fiona Bell. The environmental impact of plastics in the packaging, fashion, and electronics industries has posed a great threat to our planet. Luckily, designers and researchers are creating sustainable alternatives to plastic, bioplastics. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn about sustainability methods while creating and designing with your very own bioplastic. Families welcome!
