We Are Also You: Avatar Project

The We Are Also You Avatar Project (WAAYAP) is supported by a Public Art Grant from the Public Art Committee.

The exhibit features a collaborative installation of 2D and 3D works on the theme of Loss, Hope and Identity by four Lafayette artists. The project is focused on hearing from underrepresented members of our community. Entries from the open call will be displayed alongside the installation. When we witness each other's stories, we connect to the fundamental human experience.

Submissions will be accepted from Oct. 1-31. Learn more about WAAYAP and the call for entry.

On Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3pm, join us for a poetry reading inspired by the theme, followed by a collective viewing of the exhibit at 4pm.
