LYAC Mental Health Focus Group (Teens/Young Adults) - Register
Teens in grades 8-12 and young adults ages 18-25 - Share your voice and perspective on mental health with the Lafayette Youth Advisory Commission (LYAC), in partnership with Lafayette Communities That Care, and with support from the Lafayette Public Library and Mental Health Partners.
This bilingual event is the third of four opportunities hosted by LYAC for various ages to gain insight into mental health perceptions, resources, and needs on the local level.
The Commission will also host "Teens Talk: Adults Listen," a workshop to connect Lafayette parents, educators, and mentors with resources and the encouragement needed to establish conversations on mental health with the children in their life.
Community members will receive a $50 gift card for their participation in a focus group and/or workshop. Advance registration is required. All sessions will be held in Spanish and English.
