Tune into Nature - "Seasons of Change"
All ages - Join astronomy naturalist Deb Price, and naturalist Dave Sutherland, in the Library Meeting Room for a presentation on Tune into Nature Tuesday, "Seasons of Change." Changing seasons mean changing skies. Learn how our orbit around the sun changes the constellations we see in the southern sky, and find out what you can see in the skies on the exact date of the summer solstice.
After our talk, all are welcome to join us at Ofelia Miramontes Park (next to the Library) for a special Stories in the Stars storytime, followed by an evening of stargazing. First learn about our summer skies, then see them up close with a telescope!
