Community Workshop on Short Term Rental Properties
Adults - join us for a community open house about Short Term Rental Properties and Accessory Dwelling Units. We want to hear from you - tell us what you think about short term rentals (STRs) and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in Lafayette. The City is considering allowing these structures in residential zones.
STRs are homes that have all or a portion rented out for 30 or fewer days at time (such as with Airbnb or VRBOs). What are the pros and cons?ADUs (carriage homes, in-law units) are popular in Old Town - should they be allowed in other parts of the City?

An online survey is available through October 15 at www.cityoflafayette.com/ShortTermRentals.Questions cover both STRs and ADUs and should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
