Celebration of Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos)
All ages - join us for activities to celebrate the Day of the Dead/Día De Los Muertos. We will kick off the festivities at 10:30 am with a storytime. From 11 am - 1 pm, kids and teens can decorate sugar skulls, make catrina headbands, or enjoy Calavera-themed face painting!
Ofrendas (traditional memorial altars) made by Lafayette community members will be on display throughout the Library from October 26 through November 8.
Update: Grupo Folklórico El Latir de México will not be able to join us tomorrow, but festivities will still happen all morning!
