- 11am-1pm: Sugar Skull Drop-in Workshop with Museo de Las Americas
- 1-2pm: music with Mariachi Alma del Folklore

Community Participation
- Altars - The Library regularly displays altars (ofrendas) set up by community groups from Oct. 15-Nov. 11. Please contact us before Oct. 14 if you are interested in hosting an altar.
- Make a mini-diorama - create your own mini-diorama altar honoring a loved one. Using small boxes provided by the Library (available starting Oct. 1, while supplies last) or your own materials from home, create a diorama to honor a family member, friend, pet, or celebrity that passed away. Include a description of your loved one. Get creative! Drop off dioramas by Oct. 14.
- Add to the Remembrance Tree - stop by the Lobby tree and add the name of a loved one or a message.
