Teen Service: MLK Celebration - Register (2-4 hours)
Update: The March portion of the event has been canceled due to extreme cold, but volunteers signed up for any shift, or anybody who signs up now, may instead work at the Celebration at the Recreation Center.
Teens ages 14-17: sign up to help with the annual Mile March and Rally in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Earn up to four hours of volunteer service credit, and be a part of a longstanding and meaningful community event!
Planning meeting (optional but strongly encouraged for anyone volunteering or interested in learning more): Wednesday, Jan. 15, 6pm at the Library. (Food will be provided, and attendance earns credit hours.)
MLK Day Revised Schedule (pick one when you sign up - please do not choose the March portion of the event)
- Rally shift, 10am-12:30pm: meet at the Recreation Center.
- Both events, 9am-1pm: due to the cancellation of the march, meet at the Recreation Center at 10:30 instead.
