Maker Mondays: Still Life Drawing - Register
Adults 18 and older - sign up for a 4-session workshop to learn the basics of still life drawing! This class will meet every Monday in March.
- Week one: discuss basics of one-point perspective, and use the concept to begin to outline a very simple still life display.
- Week two: continue drawing one-point perspective line drawing, and discuss shadows and cross hatching.
- Week three: block in shadows and use cross hatch to shade drawing.
- Week four: Add highlights to drawings and finish them.
Materials: basic materials will be provided. To enhance your experience, bring HB, 4H, and 6B pencils (available inexpensively at art and craft stores).
About Maker Mondays
Each month is a new craft or skill. Sign up for the whole series. Classes meet in the Library's Studio 775 Makerspace, Conference Room, or the nearby seating area.
