Maker Mondays: Zine Scene (1) - Register
Adults 18 and older - learn how to make a Zine in two classes! Zines (pronounced ZEENS) are miniature magazines or booklets dating back to 1517 that grew in popularity in the 1970s when copy shops became widely available. In this course, you’ll learn a brief history and make your own self-published zine(s) with anything from original art to scraps of old paper.
Schedule: Register for the first session, which includes Sept. 8 and 15. (An alternate course with the same content is taught Sept. 22 and 29.)
Optional Supplies: pens, ticket stubs, postcards, greeting cards, photographs, pressed flowers, stamps, long reach stapler.
