Maker Mondays: Hand Embroidery - Register

Adults 18 and older - sign up for a 3-session workshop to learn the foundations of hand embroidery to create stylized flowers and plants with Cat Eskey of Cottage Chip Hand Embroidery. This class will meet on Mondays: April 1, 8, and 15 from 1:30-3:30pm.

Each week we will learn a few basic stitches and how to use them to create various leaves and blooms. We will use color and texture to bring them to life in  a blossoming hand embroidered floral wreath you can take home with you- along with skills to last a lifetime.

Materials provided:

  • 6-inch wood embroidery hoop
  • 6-strand embroidery floss in a variety of colors

Materials needed:

  • pack of needles sizes 3-9 
  • two 8-inch (or larger) squares of lightweight cotton muslin fabric 
  • any specific colors of 6-strand embroidery floss (DMC brand or similar) that you would like to work with
