Maker Mondays: Embroidered Holiday Ornaments- Register
Adults 18 and older - sign up for a single session workshop to make an embroidered felt ornament with Cat Eskey of Cottage Chip Hand Embroidery. In this class, we will learn a few basic stitches of hand embroidery and how to apply them on felt to make a padded snowflake ornament. This class is perfect for beginners and those who want to expand their skills in embroidering without a hoop. At the end of the class, you will have an adorable ornament that you can gift (or keep) for the holidays- along with skills to last a lifetime.
Schedule: This is a single-session class, available on multiple Mondays (Nov, 3, 10, or 17). Content and skills taught are the same for each date.
Materials: Patterns and embroidery floss will be provided. Please bring the following:
- Pack of needles sizes 3-9
- 8.5x11" sheet of felt in your preferred color
- Some embroidery floss will be available, but you are welcome to bring any specific colors of 6-strand embroidery floss (DMC brand or similar)
