Lafayette Learns: Colonial Landscapes and CU Boulder

Lafayette Learns: Colonial Landscapes and CU Boulder

Adults and older teens - join CU Boulder professor Dr. Abby Hickcox for "Colonial Landscapes: an examination of the settler colonial acquisition of land for CU Boulder." Our everyday built environment is often a collection of layers of history. This project of the Arts & Sciences Honors Program at CU Boulder looks into the early land acquisition of CU Boulder to trace the history and mechanisms through which settler colonialism dispossessed Native people from the land. Dr. Hickcox is a Professor in the Arts & Sciences Honors Program at CU Boulder and her research looks into the early land acquisition of CU Boulder to trace the history and mechanisms through which settler colonialism dispossessed Native people from the land.
