Call for Community Altars
Create an altar or a mini diorama to honor a loved one in October!
We invite individuals, families, or groups to create an altar for our Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) community ofrendas, which will be on display Oct. 15-Nov. 12.
- Sign up by Oct. 15 using the blue Register button (scroll down on this page). We will follow up to schedule a time to set up your altar before Oct. 15.

Mini diorama altars: P
ick up a small box (while supplies last) from the Library starting Oct. 1 to create your own mini-diorama altar honoring a loved one. Using materials from home, honor a family member, friend, pet, or celebrity that passed away. Include a description of your loved one. Get creative! Drop off dioramas by Oct. 15 or make an appointment with Angelique.
